Deep beneath the school, a hidden training sanctuary awaits those with the potential to defend the magical realm. We played Mana Surge for a date night and had a blast. Using the wand to trigger the lights and open hidden doors felt like being a wizard. It wasn't scary, and the puzzles flowed well without leaving us frustrated. Our game master gave us a helpful hint when we got stuck on the crystal sequence. We'd come back for Crimson Room.

I brought my 11- and 14-year-old kids, and they were both completely into it. They loved waving the wands and seeing the room respond with lights and sound. The puzzles were new to us and kept everyone involved without being too difficult. Nothing felt creepy or scary. It was a great afternoon together.

Our D&D group tried Mana Surge together. The wands, arcane runes and mysterious academy made us feel like an adventuring party. We liked that the puzzles followed the magical story rather than feeling like random maths problems. Our game master got into the fantasy setting during the briefing, which made it even more fun.

This was my first escape room, and I was worried we'd spend an hour staring at a wall. Mana Surge was a great introduction. The story was easy to follow, and using the wands to solve puzzles was satisfying. It wasn't scary, and the difficulty built up gently. The staff were welcoming and patient during the briefing.
